25 years ago, the word Alacarte from the French restaurant term "a la carte", (meaning: "bespoke according to the menu"), was chosen as the perfect name for former Model Bijou's modelling castings service, designed right from the centre of Paris Fashion Week of Spring 1999, while assisting Management teams and international Designers and Showrooms alike with booking the perfect models during major salons such as Tranoi, Tuileries Gardens 'ParisSurMode', 'Atmosphere' or 'Premiere Classe' and many more...
Officially Launched in the UK by summer 2000, with a new website, a little prouesse at the non-digital era times, we successfully launched and managed the career of over 70 models, focusing first on our Salons & Exhibitions roots to later in 2005 take the leap of faith from trade fashion to mostly fashion weeks.
